Our cutting tables are a great addition to any fashion designer or dress maker’s studio. Our benches are durable, made from solid beech kiln-dried wood and are perfect for saving you space. They come fitted with two shelves which are perfect for storing fabric rolls.
We’ve successfully made and supplied cutting tables for fashion houses, museums, education, theatre companies, designers, shops, individuals and more…even science and technology sectors have utilised the versatility of our tables.
Our cutting tables come in a range of sizes; we have standard sizes but can also make bespoke sizes and designs for you.
Our standard sizes range from 1.2m x 1.2m x 0.9m and go up to 4m x 1.8m x 0.9m.
Cutting table tops?
Our cutting tables have a lino top with beech edging, our tops are soft yet hard-wearing. We do offer alternative tops which are available on request.
Require another configuration?
We can customise our cutting tables to suit you and your requirements, some other configurations include drawers, pigeon holes, half shelves and drop leaf end flaps. We can also include 1m Brass rule insert (Government stamped), Castors per leg (all lockable), Extra small drawers or a nest of drawers/drawer pack 2. We can also make a variable height cutting table if preferred. If you require something not mentioned here we can usually do that too – just ask! How do I order?
Due to the wide range of bespoke products we have we are unable to publish a price list, however, our ordering process is very straightforward. You can enquire about our products through our contact form on our website or by emailing or phoning us directly. We are happy to talk through the various options with you and answer any questions you may have.
Once you have decided on your product and are happy with your quote, we will ask you to send us a confirmation email stating that you would like to go ahead with the order. We ask you to email us so that we can confirm your name, contact details and delivery address (if it is different from billing address). After we have received your email we will then get back to you with a proforma invoice which can either be paid via cheque or through a debit transfer.
What happens next?
Once the order has been placed and the delivery details have been discussed, production time usually takes between 6-8 weeks, this is due to all of our workbenches being made to order. Delivery dates and times will be confirmed with you, along with any other details. Ordering from EMIR means you are speaking with those directly involved in the design and production of your workbenches which means you can easily get in touch with our office with any questions you might have. This would not be possible if ordered through a reseller and when there is news about your order, we are able to get in touch with you quickly and efficiently, rather than going through a third party.
